10 Steps Korean Skincare Regime at MUSE by Watson

For your information, Watson has launched their very first premium beauty retail brand lately at Sunway Pyramid, namely MUSE by Watson. To accomplish the vision of inspiring confidence among men and women through looking good and great solutions, this flagship offers 12 exclusives skincare and cosmetic brands for both genders.

A big thanks to MUSE and thebutterflyproject, I got to attend this workshop and learn more about the proper skincare regime to achieve Korean dewy kind of skin.
In this workshop, we are exposed to mostly skin care products from CLIV (Pronounced as CL4) and Cremorlab.

Known as Cosmeceutical Solution Laboratory 4th Skincare. This brand provides professional skincare customized for each  skin type through products in 4 stages (Cleansing, Moisturizing, Activation, Protection).

Representing its name, it's a golden ratio between nature and science. It's also a new classic in hydration.

After getting some brief intro on CLIV and Cremorlab, lets get started!

Step 1: Pre-Cleanse

Gently removes all the make up and any impurities on the face.

Step 2: The Cleanse

Further removes any excess traces of make up or dirt on face. Korean women will usually massage their face to increase circulation to bring out a brighter complexion.

Step 3: The Exfoliator

Exfoliate with facial scrub once a week to remove dead skin. Gently focus on visible pores and blackheads.

 Step 4: Tone and Refreshing

Go with toner to balance and restore skin pH for a better penetration before next step. Besides, a toner helps to tighten pores as well.

Step 5: The Essence

The most important step in Korean skincare regime which needed to nourish our skin for skin's cellular renewal process that finally leads to a increase in skin's elasticity and firmness, as well as brighter skin complexion.

Step 6: The Ampoule

Ampoules which consist of the smallest molecules and concentrated active ingredients is effective to penetrate deeper into skin. Combating skin problems like age-ing, pigmentation with much faster results.

Step 7: Sheet Mask

Apply twice a week as a skin care ritual Sheet mask force your skin to adsorb all the nutrients and moisture intensively before evaporate.

Step 8: Eye Cream

Extra gentle needed as our eyes area are very thin and fragile. It's essential to pamper area around the eyes as they are more prone to lines, wrinkles and dehydration.

 Step 9: The Moisturizer

Replenish skin's hydration and lock it in with lightweight emulsion. Use fingertips to massage around face and neck to promote blood circulation.

 Step 10: Night Cream

Apply at night to look the goodness of serum/ampoules while adding moisture and firm our skin. Alternative choice will be the jelly-like sleeping pack that moisture and nourish our skin in and out.

Replace this step with sunblock or BB/CC cream during day time.
