One bad side about the Lip Gel, it's kinda troublesome to apply both lipstick and lip gel on another layer. It is not a good choice if you're in a rush. Yet, it comes in a perfect size that you can carry it and apply it anytime anywhere with just a mirror in hand.

Pantai Klebang, Melacca #BFFgoals

Finally, it's another remarkable trip that marked one of the #BFFgoals with my girl friend, Chency after our last trip to the Capsules few months back! This time, we went to the reknown desert in Melacca! It was claimed as the first desert in Malaysia and named after Pantai Klebang, as Padang Pasir Klebang.

I have to tell that, it's a whole new experience and something really different when you get to travel with your best friend, where both of you sharing the mutual interest and passion. Yeah, not every friendship begins in such easy way, they may not last either. Chency and I started our enemy-ship back in secondary school, hell yeah! We even shouted at each other publicly on social media platform. Now, we are friends for years, we blog together, film video together and we travel together!

Padang Pasir Klebang

So, back to the trip, it was something real quick and short, because I just wanna share the whole experience with you guys and wanted to get my memories recorded down in here!

Why not? It's something memorable and you are travelling with your best friend!
Just to make things clear, we both gave priority to photo shooting while travel LOL.

Depart at 8.30am in the morning from Kepong, it took us about 3 hours to reach Pantai Klebang, with the companion of heavy rain. Luckily, there wasn't any rain happening in Melacca, else the whole trip would be a total fail LOL

It was about 11.30am and we have to walked around 15 minutes to the deserted area after parking our car at the road side. It was so darn hot. OMG. Imagine that this wasn't the real desert yet.

Chency and I were discussing about the famous drama 'Journey to the West' where there's a scene that XuanZhang and his disciples making their way to the desert and volcano area. I meant how torturing to walk under the hot weather, high temperature, like walking on the heaty pot. OMO Getting sun burnt too :( 

Please be sure to put on tons of the sun screen on every single part on your body. 

Pantai Klebang

How amazing that, there was a sort of lake in the 'desert'?  Like a mirage LOL But it definitely adds a little color to the overall pale area, with some bright blue spot at the center, beside the blue sky and occean.

How to get there?
Actually it isn't hard to look for the 'desert' at Pantai Klebang, where you just have to waze [Pantai Klebang Melacca] and it will lead you right down to Klebang beach. The desert is just right beside the beach.

Where to Park?
With no choice, but you have to park your car near the grassy lane or beside the road, as you are not permitted to drive in.

How long should you walk?
Around 10-15 minutes to reach the desert hill.

What is the best time to visit?
Early in the morning, around 8am to 10am. Suggested to visit in cloudy day else you gonna injured from sun burn.
Evening, around 4.30pm to 6pm. There isn't any road lighting in the deserted area and it will completely dark when the sun sets.

What to bring?
Umbrella, Water, Hair Tie and Sunblock (for girls), Food (if you gonna stay long for shoot)

Any entrance fee?
No. It's absolutely free.

What to wear?
Whatever you like but please be reminded to gear in your comfy sport shoes, as you gonna walk a mile on the road that filled with stones and then dunes. Anyhow, your shoes will be filled with sand.

Beside the deserted area, there's a so called photogenic place that work best for photo shoot, a view with overgrown thatch and grass that looks exactly like the Korean-ish pictures on Instagram.

It took us about 3 hours to get the photo shoot session done LOL. Then we headed down to the town for some food and of course we would never miss that street shoot again haha!

BFF Goals

That's all about our one day trip. Definitely remarkable but then it makes me pause for my thought of travelling to the real desert LOL

It comes in a white gel texture which is so light and easy to be spread on the skin. 

I love using gel/balm remover to remove my daily light makeup and sunblock, as it needs not require any cotton or harsh action, where the impurities can be easily removed just using fingers. Surprisingly, this gel remover doesn't cause any irritation or inflammable feelings on my skin. It effectively removes make up and impurities on my skin while maintaining its moisture level. This remover is only applicable for face only, avoid contact with eyes. 

Step 2: Wash

Followed by another cleansing step, will be cleansing our face with Kiku-Masamune Skin Care Wash. It claims to remove sebum deep in the pores, smoothen the skin without leaving the skin feeling tighten.

It comes in white creamy texture which later turns into white dense foam after lathering with water.

To be honest, I am not a fans of foam facial cleanser, which I have been mentioning over and over again in my blog. Same goes to this. Even though this cleanser cleanses my face well, it leaves a 'film' kinda layer on my skin. My skin feels slimy and I don't really like the overall feeling when I am rinsing off the foam with water. However, it's good as it doesn't leave my skin feeling dry and tight! In contrast, my skin feels hydrated and supple!

Moreover, this product can be used as a full body wash! Multi-usage!

Step 3: Tone

After all, it's time to tone our skin with Kiku-Masamune Skin Lotion.

Overall thoughts

I have read up some blog reviews online where few of the writers have stated that they have been suffering from breakouts right after using the Kiku Masamune range. Yet, there are still writers that loving this product range as they are highly-moisturized.

On my own view, most of the products from this range has a strong sake scent, which doesn't seem comfort to me. It smells like medicine LOL. However, all the products work amazingly on my skin! There isn't any breakouts neither acne on my skin, instead I feel my skin is so much hydrated and bright in complexion!
I should say that all kind of skin care is very much depending on our skin type. The Kiku-Masamune range is slightly acidic (acid pH balance), yet it comes with no mineral oil and color additives.
Last but not least, the price range is absolutely worthy with such huge bottle/volume of product!
